To continue with our recent Brighton theme (sponsoring the Fairytale Fair!) we thought we’d write a profile on our Brighton & Hove region Area Sales Manager, Alex Goodman.
Alex is a relatively new and fabulous addition to the team, and he comes with an interesting back story as he was a cocktail waiter in his late teens (see his cocktail blog), and then went on to manage a prominent venue in the centre of Brighton. He grew tired of only being busy on Friday and Saturday evenings so he decided to join his father in the traditional estate agency business he owned. He fell in love with estate agency and over the course of ten years rose to be company director before his Dad decided to sell the business and retire. Alex had wanted to develop a forward thinking business in a new area, and discovered Move Revolution when we were about to commit to expansion in the Sussex coast area. He was drawn to the way the business is run, and felt strongly about being a big part of the businesses plans for growth. The rest is history, as they say!
Alex goes to the Street Diner in Brighthelm Gardens every Friday to enjoy a lunchtime treat. He loves the Japanese and Mexican dishes in particular. The Street Diner’s motto is arrive hungry, leave happy, and it certainly seems to hit the spot!
Alex is a big football fan and although he somehow isn’t a Seagulls supporter (why?!), he is delighted to see them promoted to the Premier League. He’s a keen golfer and enjoys playing at West Hove and Devils Dyke.
In terms of being out for a drink, although he’s not quite so hedonistic as he was in his bar manager days, he’s still a fan of The Cricketers for it’s traditional atmosphere, and also The Office for their huge array of gins!
Alex is a bit of an interiors aficionado and loves modern homes with modern interiors and more traditional homes with more of a classic look. Given a choice, he’d probably go for the modern look. Here are some recent modern interiors from the area, taken by our in house photography team. We think they look incredible!
