DESCRIPTION Set up on the hill on the borders between Saltdean and Rottingdean, this modern and spacious detached, three bedroom property would make a wonderful home for a quiet life by the sea. It even has the added benefit of sea views from the upstairs sun terrace.
Inside the spacious entrance hall, a door leads into the bright kitchen, which has been fitted in white units and dark work surfaces and has a tiled floor. There is even the addition of a utility room to the side.
We think buyers will love the open plan lounge/dining/family room at the back of the house most of all. This is a wonderful space that benefits from being beautifully bright as the large windows and sliding doors face south and lead out to the small but very attractive rear garden area.
Also on the ground floor the property benefits from having a home office/study which could be used as a fourth bedroom.
Upstairs there are three good sized double bedrooms – the master of which has an en suite shower room and views out to sea. The second bedroom has sliding patio doors that lead out to a lovely sun terrace that has fantastic views of the sea.
In addition there is also a family bathroom that has been finished very well and is fully tiled.
Outside, to the back of the property we really love the nautical themed garden area which has been fully laid to good quality decking and provides a secluded place to sit and enjoy the sun. Also, for anyone one who loves art or has a hobby that requires lots of space, there is an outdoor studio which can be used all year round as it has been insulated and has power.
Overall we love this spacious home by the sea, and really think someone will be happy here in the quiet town of Saltdean.
LOCATION Lenham Avenue lies on the borders between Rottingdean and Saltdean and is within walking distance of both the sea and the newly re-opened Saltdean Lido. Brighton and its wonderful collection of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars is only a 10-minute drive, however there is an excellent bus service that runs from Saltdean to most parts of the city.
Between Saltdean and Brighton is Brighton Marina, which is a great place to have a drink in the sun, enjoy a good meal in one of the many restaurants or see a film at the Cineworld cinema. There is also a large Asda and a David Lloyd gym located in the marina.
