If your friends come to stay during warmer months, visit Reigate’s famous caves and explore beneath the town centre. Check opening days first, as the caves shut for winter. The entrance is located on Tunnel Road (just past Café Rouge). The road was built in 1823 and is the oldest road tunnel in Britain, as well as one of the oldest in Europe.
