The heart of the village is the Half Moon Public House serving food and a selection of ales. Also within the village is the local primary school, Warninglid Primary, while just up the road to the north is the village of Handcross which has Handcross Park Preparatory School. The Closest towns are Haywards Heath to the East, and to the Northwest is Horsham, both with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Both towns have train stations offering easy access to London. A quick journey south along the A23 takes you to Brighton.
