DESCRIPTION This is an excellent home, set over three floors and provides plenty of space and flexibility. The development consists of just eight homes and is tucked behind a security coded five bar gate. Built around 2003, these homes offer the perfect blend of village life and modern living.

As you walk through the front door, you’ll find the kitchen at the front and the sitting room at the rear. This works well, with a door to the rear that leads you out to the garden and the parking. On the first floor, bedrooms two and three are a good size, with bedroom two at the rear and bedroom three overlooking the front. In between, you’ll find the family bathroom. We like the fact that the second bedroom has two windows overlooking the garden and the views to the rear are pretty impressive. You’ll also find a built in wardrobe. Stairs then rise to the second floor and the master suite. This is a great bedroom – double aspect with a window to the front and also to the rear, with the views even more impressive than the first floor. There are built in wardrobes and access into the en-suite. To the rear there is plenty of space in the garden for a table and chairs as well as a BBQ. There is an allocated parking space under the car port in and also visitors parking. There is also the added bonus of outdoor power.

LOCATION We think the loation of Yew Tree Cottage is pretty perfect. The High Street is the hub within the village where you’ll find the Post Office and convenience store. For those that enjoy the outdoors, there are plenty of public footpaths on your doorstep to explore and make the most of. Stroll down the road and pop into The Fellows – our favourite bakers, where the apple and cinnamon croissants are out of this world. One of our go to pubs in the area is The Gardeners Arms – the food is excellent (we highly recommend their H&W Burger!) Further up the road is Wakehurst Place which is part of the National Trust. There is St. Peter’s C of E primary school within the village and also Ardingly College, one of the very best independent schools in the South East. A short drive takes you into the beautiful village of Lindfield which provides a more comprehensive range of village facilities. Haywards Heath station with its commuter service to London Victoria and London Bridge in under an hour is just over three miles to the south.
