LOCATION There is plenty on offer for local residents. The house is located within a short walk of Tilgate Park which is a great place to visit with or without children! There is a Zoo, "Go Ape", outdoor gym, a play area for smaller children, a western style grill restaurant, very well kept grounds around the lake with plenty of areas for picnics or just to have a stroll. The K2 leisure centre is only a short walk away and offers a gym, rock climbing, squash courts, swimming pool and athletics facilities.

Tilgate is served by a useful parade of shops which include a a Co-Op Supermarket, Lloyds Pharmacy, two Newsagents, a number of Take Away Restaurants and a popular bakery. For larger shops, Crawley offers an Asda, Marks and Spencers, Aldi, Sainsburys and Tescos.

Three Bridges mainline railway station, located on the London to Brighton line, can be located within a short drive. It is used by many commuters and published times into London Victoria during rush hour are from 39 minutes, whilst in to London Bridge it is 45 minutes. Brighton can be reached within approximately half an hour. The M23 connects Crawley to Gatwick Airport and the M25.
