**Move Revolution – Open Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm** Beautiful Grade II Listed semi detached cottage located in idyllic Newick, just a short stroll from the village green. Four bedrooms, potential to extend and occupying an excellent plot with mature south and west facing gardens. No onward chain

DESCRIPTION A quaint and beautiful Grade II listed cottage providing plenty of charm and character and with potential for further improvement. Subject to permission being granted, we believe that there is scope to extend to either the side or to the rear. 4 Church Road was formally two cottages, believed to have been built in the late 1800’s which was then converted into one dwelling at a later date. As you enter, the semi open plan entrance hall gives way to a spacious sitting room which overlooks the front of Church Road and benefits from an open fire. The kitchen was re-modelled approximately 10 years ago and provides space for a breakfast table. There is ample work surface prep space and storage, and also a door which leads you down to a cellar. Off the entrance hall is the dining room and bathroom, whilst a staircase on the northern side of the cottage takes you to the first floor and two bedrooms, whilst a staircase on the southern side from the kitchen, takes you to two further bedrooms. Access to the rear garden is via a side gate and doors from both the kitchen and the dining room. There are two brick built outbuildings, one immediately behind the kitchen and one on a raised patio. The mature garden is a real feature of this home, predominantly southerly and westerly facing there is ample space to do plenty with it. To the front of the cottage there is lane parking in front and an unmade off road parking space.

LOCATION
Newick is a beautiful Sussex village, located off the A272 and 7 miles to the east of Haywards Heath and 5 miles to the west of Uckfield. There is a choice of 3 local pubs, The Bull On The Green, Royal Oak and The Crown, all within walking distance of the village green. A short drive will take you to The Griffin at Fletching and The Farmers at Scaynes Hill – two or our favourite pubs to eat in. Elsewhere, the Newick Tandoori is a firm favourite with locals. There is also a bakers, convenience store and a pharmacy in the village. Commuters can travel either into Haywards Heath and pick up the London to Brighton line or to Uckfield. Close by to Newick is The Bluebell Railway and also National Trust at Sheffield Park.
