It is in the bathrooms of Silver Birch that you can really see the detail and quality of fittings. Our favourite room of this home is the master suite. This superbly designed room has a walk in wardrobe area with floor to ceiling built in units. A door then takes you into the main section of the room where french doors provide the view over the garden. Frosted double glass doors lead to one of the best bathrooms you could ever imagine. Almost four metres in length, there is a large oval bath in the middle of the room. The WC and basin are wall hung to enhance the sense of space in the room and at the far end is the walk in shower with double shower head.
Off the sitting room, there is an office measuring 15′ in length which could easily be used as a fourth bedroom. A stunning addition to Silver Birch is the playroom adjoining. This 30 x 20 room has the potential for multiple uses, not least an annexe, fifth bedroom or as it is currently used as a gym. Like most of the other rooms, this has direct access and views to the garden.
Outside, the patio is a great spot for a BBQ, perfectly positioned close to doors which take you back into the kitchen breakfast room, sitting room or even the with playroom. Silver Birch is well screened from the neighbours and you can’t help but be impressed by the beautiful views of the South Downs National Park. An added bonus of the garden is the wooded area adjacent to the main garden. It could make the perfect play area or left to grow as it currently is. To the front of Silver Birch is a double garage – there is internal access from here into the property which leads to a useful storage room and then into the office. To the front there is plenty of parking for probably at least six cars.

LOCATION Sitting on the eastern edge of Haywards Heath, Silver Birch occupies an excellent location. Hurstwood Lane is in our opinion an even more desirable road since the access onto the A272 was closed and therefore making the section where Silver Birch is located only used for residents of the lane and the neighbouring cul de sacs. Additionally, the opening of the A272 bypass linking through to Bolnore and Cuckfield ensures that reaching the A23/M23 is much simpler and quicker task than it used to be. Hurstwood Lane to the south links you with Wivelsfield Green and towards Ditchling and Brighton, whilst the A272 East leads you to Uckfield and beyond to Tunbridge Wells. Local shopping facilities can be found in Northlands Avenue which includes a Tesco Express, Doctor Surgery and a pharmacy. There is also the choice of the recently opened Co-Op on Franklynn Road or Sainsburys Local on Wiveslfield Road. Other recognised facilities on hand is The Princess Royal Hospital and The Birch hotel. Brighton can be found 15 miles to the south, whilst a short drive north takes you to Crawley and London Gatwick. The countryside is not far from your front door, National Trust facilities are located locally at Wakehust Place and Nymans Gardens, with Sheffield Park less than 15 minutes by road. Pretty villages surround Haywards Heath and include Lindfield, Cuckfield, Ardingly and Wivelsfield Green.
