About Croydon

Situated in the south of the capital, Croydon is one of the largest commercial districts outside of central London.

With the town set to invest millions into development, exciting things are on the cards. Next summer, Boxpark – already a huge hit in Shoreditch – is coming to the town. It’ll sport a trendy pop up mall with independent food and drinks retailers, as well as live music.

Famous for its malls, the town is the second largest place to shop in the South East, after central London. Whitgift and Centrale shopping centres, Croydon high street and Valley Park Retail outlet are all great for shopping. Westfield will also be opening their new complex in 2019.

East Croydon station has excellent commuter links into the city and surrounding areas, with regular fast trains into Victoria, London Bridge, St Pancras, Brighton and Gatwick. Croydon is home to the only tram system in the capital, allowing residents and visitors to easily navigate the town, as well as reach public transport links.

It also boasts excellent schools, including Whitgift, Trinity, Wallington Grammar, John Fisher, and Coloma.
