Are you a ‘Move Kid’!

We are delighted to be hosting the Move Revolution Kids Active Village Sunday 18th September. We have been busy planning a fabulous event for you all, and although we are still finalising everything, we couldn’t wait to share some of the detail with you!

As always all our children’s activities are FREE, and all you need to do is sign in on arrival. From 10am – 2pm on Sunday 18th September, you will find us among the Run Reigate event with a very special line up to keep the children entertained. Let your children be ‘Move Kids’ for the day!

Children will be given a ‘Get Moving’ passport and encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible, including:

• The climbing wall
• Crazy golf
• Bouncy assault course

As well as go and see our local clubs who will be there to chat and demonstrate their activities/skills including:

Reigate School of Ballet
Reigate Priory Hockey Club
Martial arts club
Redhill & Reigate Marlins swimming club
Redhill Golf Centre
Star Steppers
Urban Play Street Dance
Old Reigatians Rugby Minis

There will be more to come, and we will update this via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/moverev so be sure to like the page to stay up to date!

New for this year, we have a very special appearance from the Boogie Monsters, the brainchild of professional musician Kelly Smith who wanted to provide children with the opportunity to experience a live band. With a five piece line up, we will have a fantastic time, challenging as many children as possible to sing and dance along to our anthem “I like to Move It,Move It” in Move Revolution style!

We are working in partnership with Reigate and Banstead Council; hosting the event as part of their R&BeActive initiative. We are very proud sponsors of Run Reigate for the third year running, and are so happy to support those taking part in the races, as well as entertain the children!

Move Revolution Managing Director, Cliff Cooper said: “It’s always a pleasure to host the Kids Active Village and we can’t wait to see everyone coming along to join in with the Boogie Monsters performance – we know it will be great fun. We hope that many children will meet some of the local clubs and begin a new sport that they will love. Lastly, we wish all the runners the best of luck and admire them all for their charity efforts”

Last year over 4,000 runners raised over £150,000 for charity. This year there is the new Run Reigate Children’s Race approximately 1200 children will be taking part!
