A clear overview
After you accept an offer on your home, the sale enters the sales progression stage. This is the period between offer agreed and legal completion, where solicitors, surveys, searches, finances and chains must all be carefully managed.
It is also the stage where most delays and fall-throughs occur – which is why calm communication and proactive coordination matter so much. There is often a moment of relief when an offer is agreed. But behind the scenes, this is where your move truly begins.
For many people, this stage feels unclear. Timelines can seem vague, communication can slow, and it can feel as though things are happening without you quite knowing how or why. At Move Revolution, we believe this part of the journey should feel supported, structured and calmly managed. Our role is not just to agree a sale, but to protect it all the way through to completion. This is what really happens next.
When your move becomes a managed process
Once your sale or purchase is agreed, your move is handed to one of our dedicated Sales Coordinators.
From this point, we become the central point of contact between you, your solicitor, the other side, and any connected parties in the chain. Our role is to keep everything moving, identify risks early, and make sure you always know what is happening – and why. Before anything progresses, we quietly ensure the essentials are in place – proof of identity, mortgage details or proof of funds, solicitors appointed, and full contact details for everyone involved. These early checks prevent many of the issues that cause stress later on.
Connecting everyone involved
Shortly after the offer is agreed, a Memorandum of Sale is issued. This confirms the agreed details and formally connects all parties. From this moment, your move is no longer a series of separate conversations. It becomes a single, coordinated process. This is where clarity begins.
What happens behind the scenes?
While you are getting on with day-to-day life, your Sales Coordinator is working quietly in the background. We speak regularly with solicitors, track searches and enquiries, monitor mortgage valuations and surveys, and keep other agents in the chain informed, as appropriate. We watch timelines closely, flag potential delays, and step in early – before small issues become bigger problems.
It is not about chasing.
It is about structure, communication and consistency.
Managing the chain with care
Most property transactions involve more than one buyer and seller. Each person is relying on someone else, and one delay can affect everyone. We actively manage the chain, keeping in contact with all parties so no one is left guessing. Our focus is not just on your sale, but on the wider picture that supports it.
This is where experience, preparation and calm communication make all the difference.
Moving towards exchange and completion
As legal checks are completed and finances are finalised, the transaction moves into its final stage. When all parties are ready, exchange and completion dates are agreed. This shared approach reduces last-minute stress and ensures everyone is aligned.
At exchange, contracts are signed and the transaction becomes legally binding.
At completion, keys are released and your move becomes a reality.
It is a significant moment – and one that should feel steady, not overwhelming.
Why this stage matters
Sales do not complete themselves.
They are guided.
They are supported.
They are carefully managed.
At Move Revolution, we do not believe in pressure or guesswork. We believe in preparation, clarity and proactive communication – because that is what creates confidence.
Moving home will always be emotional. But it does not have to feel uncertain. We help people move with confidence, clarity and care.
