As our Share the Love 2025 campaign comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly special few weeks and to thank everyone who took part in Finn’s Gingerbread House Design Competition.

What began as a fun, festive idea quickly became something much more meaningful, bringing together creativity, community spirit and kindness in the run up to Christmas.

A Wonderful Response from Our Community

We were absolutely blown away by the response to the competition. The standard of entries was incredible, with children producing beautifully detailed gingerbread houses full of imagination, colour and personality. From cosy cottages to candy-covered creations, every design had clearly been created with care.

Choosing winners was no easy task. Harvey and members of the Move Revolution team spent a very enjoyable afternoon carefully reviewing each entry, eventually selecting one winner from each year group. It was a lovely moment for the team and a reminder of just how creative our local children are.

Supporting Horley Food Bank Together

Alongside the competition, families also supported our Share the Love Food Bank campaign, helping us collect donations for Horley Food Bank.

One of the most special moments of the campaign was seeing a pupil from Langshott Primary School proudly hand over food donations to the Horley Food Bank team, alongside members of the Move Revolution team. It was a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Why Finn Matters to Us

At Move Revolution, home is at the heart of everything we do. Introducing Finn to our Share the Love campaign allowed us to bring that idea to life in a way that children could connect with – encouraging imagination while also helping families think about supporting those in need.

This year marked our sixth year running Share the Love, and campaigns like this remind us why it continues to be so important. It’s about more than donations; it’s about connection, creativity and community.
