Winter is very much still here so why not have some fun on the ice! Ice skating is not just a Christmas activity… The Locomotive Shed at Sheffield Park Station has an ice rink where you can go skating and see where the locomotives are prepared before they steam up and down the preserved railway line. There is also the option to hop on and off the trains all day, so you can make a day of it. Get your skates on and book online before heading over.
If you are looking to adventure in the great outdoors, Ashdown Forest is always a lovely experience. Why not stop off at Pooh Corner before or after your adventure into the 100 Acre Wood?! We recommend booking ahead as spaces are limited and notice is required. Finish off by having a mooch around then gift shop where you can find some vintage finds!
